RIVERHEAD HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION - SATURDAY, JUNE 28, 2014
There couldn't have been a more beautiful day for an outdoor graduation or a more beautiful group of graduates. Senior Class President Carolyn Carrera's presentation was a reflection of her goodness and caring, which was a wonderful segue to the class gift of $8,000 for the Michael Hubbard Fund and $2,000 toward Michael's new bedroom at Brendan House. Student Government President Sydney Kito kept the "We did it!" theme going with her brief history
of the "heart" her class showed on and off the playing field. Superintendent Carney counseled the graduates to thank their friends and families for their support. Salutatorian Lydia Keiffert did just that as she spoke about the importance of friendship, and Valedictorian Ceaser Chabla-Sarmiento gave heartfelt thanks to his grandmother, his family, and the RHS school community for helping him realize the American Dream. All the students ended their speeches with the phrase "We did it!" Well done, Class of 2014! |
Congratulations to the Class of 2014.
